Hand Drawn Easter Red Cedar

We harvest our Cedar the old fashioned way... we walk out in the woods, select cut standing dead or over grown Eastern Red Cedar. We carry the logs out with our bare hands and hand peel the pickets and rails with a 19th century dray knife on an old English Shaving horse.

Not only are our rails unique, they are hand made and safe to our environment.

The dark red cedar comes from trees that have been dead or even down for some time, the sapwood hardens and dries naturally and darken to the beautiful deep purple red color.
